Velle Sherman M. Kyle aka Velle, the CEO/Owner of Cleveland Money Gettas, dreamed of being one of the greatest performer/ song writers to originate out of his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio starting at the age of 12 years old. \"My love of music came from my love of poetry. It\'s a way for me to express myself and get all that bottled up frustration, pain and happiness out of my system. At first it was hard for her to see outside the box and support Velle in his dreams of being a rap star, which is understandable. Who really thinks they would have given birth to s star. Now she backs him 100% and she is the first one at all of his shows in the front row, cheering as her baby boy lights up the stage taking this world by storm. Velle\'s father had his own downfalls and hardships with gambling and drugs but tried his best to be a good father and husband to his family. \"My father and I never really had that father-son bond. I did my own thing and he let me. Yeah, I wanted him to be there a little bit more but everything doesn\'t turn out how you plan. So my best bet was to take life for what it is and make it better.\" At the age of 16 is when Velle recorded his first song and met his first true love in his mother\'s basement. \"I have come a long way. When I was first starting out I bought a $10 dollar mic and headphones with the Acid program to record myself. Then I would take the mixtape I made and make everybody in my family listen to it. All they would say is that I needed better sound quality.\" That\'s exactly what he did when he hooked up with Prince and from there linked up with Dr. Marlowe (Mauly T.)
