Busted Peach
Busted Peach is an Experimental Acoustic Folk band from Chicago, Illinois. Their music starts with the percussion grooves of a variety of cultures and is mixed with subtle but rhythmic guitar and bass work. It is sprinkled with lyrics that simultaneously point to everyday things and rooted concepts about human life, and is topped-off with powerful Beatles-like harmonies. Their sound draws on influences such as Dispatch, Paul Simon, Ani DiFranco, and Beck. Busted Peach is created by the artistry of Jonah Geil-Neufeld on vocals and acoustic guitar, Harley Meyer and Natalia Washington on percussion (including but not limited to: djembe, doumbek, cajón, and conga), and Eli Leki-Albano on bass guitar and vocals. Their debut album, Brown Paper Bag, was released on May 18th, 2007.
