The band is all about the live show and plays every show like it\'s their last Sun Machine believes in second chances, plays for those who are on their last leg. The band believes in life in the positive world, to wear a smile and your face, and when everything is against you, at least be thankful that you have tomorrow to right the wrong. These principles are evident in the music by its choice to go towards the light away from the dark. Sun Machine wears the love of their hometown on their sleeve. Houston, TX is where the band calls home, and is incredibly evident in their style and their music. Sun Machine\'s story begins in 2006 as they came together from different area bands. There was a magic when the four musicians first met as the band is influenced by Led Zeppelin, Stone Temple Pilots, Collective Soul, and traces influence to the blues, jazz, and early American music. Lead singer Mark Wiggins comes in with a brazen confidence drawing from classic frontmen such as Chris Cornell and Scott Weiland to name influences. Bassist Mark Dickinson represents the glue that mends these musical exchanges together, and drummer Joe Devadanam pounds with a muscle reminiscent of Dave Grohl and Damien Adam is the newest member of the band who brings in a jack of all trades aspect to Sun Machine with a flair for keyboards. The four musicians have put out their debut self titled album and are traveling through the region in support of this album. Their single, \"All The Way,\" has received plays on live365.com, and is gaining popularity in Houston and surrounding areas in the Southern market.
